I met Vala at the USASA Nationals in Michigan in 2003 when she was seventeen months old. I asked Sandy Cornwell if I could bring her home with me, but Sandy wasn't about to part with her. We kept in touch and finally in early 2005, almost two years later, Sandy agreed to let Vala come here to MontRose. Her zest for life and animated antics are a pleasure to behold.
