Yoshi came to MontRose as a youngster in September 1998. In the spring of 1999 I decided she was ready for the conformation ring and she made her show debut in April 1999 on the Cherry Blossom circuit. Yoshi came home a champion, winning at nine of the ten shows entered, except for her very first show, which included six Best of Breed wins over Specials and a Group 1, including a Special who went on to take several Best In Shows in Canada in 2001. Yoshi went Best of Opposite, Best of Breed and Group 4 the following three day weekend over the number one Australian Shepherd at that time and some other well known specials. Yoshi can walk into the show ring and dazzle the crowd and at the same time is a natural at herding beef cattle. Yoshi is a beautiful example of the breed with exceptional structure and movement, and an attitude that constantly says "what's next!"
